An informative and intimate experience for learning how to prepare a variety of Korean foods! Our instructor, Esther, spoke fluent English whilst teaching us how to prepare bulgogi and japchae, whilst also making us several other dishes, letting us sample makgeolli, delicious homemade teas, and other treats. I felt right at home in her kitchen, learned a ton about Korean cooking, and most importantly, was completely filled by a satisfying handmade meal. This was such an overwhelmingly positive experience, I highly recommend this to anyone looking to learn more about Korean cooking.

I had a wonderful experience last Tuesday as I did a private cooking class with Esda as my tutor. She is a great teacher and it was very easy to follow her instructions. As I see myself not as a beginner in Korean cooking anymore, Yum2Lab took my thoughts into considerations and we cooked delicious Samgyetang, Dwaeji Galbijjim and Nabak Kimchi. The latter has made the journey back to Switzerland safely. I want to thank Yum2Lab, and especially Esda, once more for this unforgettable experience! 🙏🏻

We had a wonderful time cooking at Yum2Lab. We are an English speaking family of two adults and two middle kids, who have lots of experience cooking and enjoy a wide variety of cuisines. We cooked Jap-Chae and Bulgogi, and both dishes were very fun to cook and turned out delicious. Our teacher spoke fluent English and was very nice and engaging. She added lots of detail about cooking techniques, knife work, and Korean cuisine and culture. The class would be interesting for people of all levels. We had a blast, and would love to take another cooking class there.

Out of everything I did in Seoul, this cooking class was my #1 experience. I took 6 cooking classes at various cooking schools (I was in Seoul for a month), but this one stood out as the most authentic and enjoyable. They really took the time to explain each step of the process, did not cut corners and were truly authentic. They explained the different soy sauces, kimchis, rice wine, etc. As someone who takes cooking classes all over the world, this is in my top 3.

We had a private class to learn how to make pork bone soup, kimchi and seafood pancakes. The instructor Esda was very thorough with her details and explanations, really enjoyed our class and would recommend it for anyone interested in learning how to cook Korean dishes while visiting Seoul.
